CULTURE IN PUTRAJAYA

MOROCCAN PAVILION (ASTAKA MOROCCO)

In this section, I will be showing you the culture found in PUTRAJAYA. And here in Putrajaya, you'll be able to learn more about the Moroccan Culture just through its beautiful art and architecture.

The Astaka Morocco is located in the Putrajaya Botanical Garden whereby it provides locals and tourists a glimpse of Moroccan Heritage, as well as architecture.

The Moroccan Pavilion was built as a symbol of cultural exchange between both Malaysia and Morocco in which it showcases the beautiful culture of Morocco.

It was completed within 2 years with the material directly imported from Morocco itself, along with the highly skilled craftsmen and builders from Morocco being involved with the construction to be able to closely replicate the enchantments and authenticity of the structure.

The pavilion ' s colourful mosaic arrangements closely mimic the distinctive characteristics of Morocco ' s earliest imperial cities and are adorned with elaborate carvings of Arabic calligraphy, geometrical patterns, and arabesque designs.

To learn more about the Moroccan Pavilion, go ahead and visit the area as it is just located at Putrajaya's Botanical Garden. However, it is currently under construction.
